Dr. Koh started his academic career as an engineer who had an interest in biology. As his career has progressed, his interests have been focused on the mechanisms the regulate tissue inflammation and healing, particularly in skeletal muscle and skin. Dr. Koh has studied muscle and skin healing at the whole organism, tissue, cellular and molecular level. Dr. Koh is also passionate about training students for their own careers in research.
